Sunday 14th December…last races before the festive break….

Unfortunately we lost another few races due to the weather last week, but the forecast looks a little more promising this week. And thanks to all for your cooperation with the road closure.

Thanks to all those who attended the Xmas dinner last Sunday. Again we had great food and company, and the surprise appearance of a new Santa topped off a fun night. Thanks to all those who put in the time to organise the function and decorate our fabulous room.

This Sunday will be the last week of sailing for 2014. Please note:

  • Racing resumes on Sunday 11th January 2015
  • Junior Learn to Sail resumes the following week on the 18th January 2015
  • Junior Race training resumes 1st February 2015

Officer of the Day and Canteen Duty
Every year its is a challenge to allocate the duty roster at the start of the season as we are not sure who all our members are! As such, we take a bit of a guess and then adjust as required. So, there are some changes, and more importantly, some gaps for the Officer of the Day and Canteen Roster duty roster for 2015, so all volunteers welcome! We are in desperate need of a Canteen volunteer for the first day back after Xmas break (Sunday 11th January – no junior training this day). An updated version of the Duty Roster is here. Please let me know if you can fill any gaps. A copy of this roster is also posted in the Kitchen so grab a pen and put your name in!

This week we have:

Junior Learn to Sail

Race Brief

Harmony Sternchaser #3, Frank Harris Bell #, Resail

Officer of the Day is Darren Sherriff, and in the canteen is Elana.

Club Presentation Lunch Sunday 24th May 2015.
